2011. It's been quite a long period since my last post. I finally got my CPL license which pilots nicknamed blue book. Have been sending applications to airlines-MASwings, AirAsia, Firefly, Hornbill Skyways and just recently apply online via website for Cathay Pacific(Hong Kong based airline).

Well, I broke up with the girl that always blame me for everything. Simply accused me of cheating on her, instead she the one that "curang". Well, live must go on. I finally met someone new. Her name is Florentyna Lia. She's a Kelabit which categorised as Orang Ulu same as Kenyah. She's introduced to me by my best friend Adam. Me and her have same interest such as Hummer H2/H3 and foods. :D This is as far as I go. I wont explain more.

Hurm..yesterday morning was the only chance I get to sleep little bit longer..hahaha..But at around 10.00am my auntie Corrrie called from Pujut to tell me that Ja'a Kalang want me to bring him to Policlinic to get his card back. The policlinic gave the wrong card. How come this mistake can happen? It seems that they are not doing their job properly.

Well after that I brought him to buy his stuffs...Lots of stuff. Basically I was driving all over the old part of Miri City yesterday. Then at about lunchtime my grandfather and I had lunch at Ban Hup coffeeshop in town. It's a newly renovated air-conditioned coffeeshop. Both of us had Nasi ayam rendang while for drinks I had Horlick peng and my grandfather had soya bean tin. While we were having our lunch, Uncle Acho called ask us to be hurry. The reason is that Ja'a Kalang will follow Uncle Acho go balik kampung. After having lunch my grandfather and I went back. I took a short cut through Canada Hill to get to Pujut Padang Kerbau @ Pujut Corner. While going up a steep part of the hill, the car suddenly stalled. Damn! To prevent the HILUX to reverse on it's own on to the car behind, I quickly applied the hand brake and the pedal brake and shift to gear 1. Then I start the car again. After that everything seems normal. I forgot to shift the gear to gear 1 for more power in climbing steep hill. After dropping off my grandpa at my old house in Pujut, I proceed to Miri Airport to pick my papa who was coming back from offshore. He came back 1 day early because he have meeting to attend on Thursday(today).

After picking papa up, we went back home. Then at 3pm we go pick Aaron, Grace and Debbie from school. After that, we went to town to have some chendol, ABC special and rojak. Then back home it is. In the evening, I went to KRP for a jog which I only did 2 rounds as warm up before proceeding to the wall glass gym on the first floor of KRP. After that I went back and online..

As usual, woke up early. Send siblings to school. Same problem encountered along Miri by-pass road (slow moving vehicle). After went for breakfast at Tasty Point in front of Imperial Mall. I had kolo mee and horlick peng for breakfast. After went back home. At about 1015 go to airport to pick mom. After that went back home again. Mom brought lunch for me-AirAsia's nasi briyani.

Then I went out to pick my siblings little bit early as I will stop by in the city to have my snickers/jogging shoes repaired by the cobbler. While waiting for the shoes to be done, I go eat cendol at behind RHB bank next to Sin Liang Supermarket. Then went to pick my siblings from school at RRSS. Then back home. Planning to go for a jog, but cancelled my plan. Rather clean the outdoor of my house than go jogging. Plus my mood was brought down by someone. So no mood to go out.

Today was just ordinary day. I have to wake up early to send my siblings to sch. We use the by-pass way. Damn! There's lots of annoying slow driver drive at 6okmh. That's damn annoying. especially those big2 lorries. I strongly feels that the Miri By-pass road should be upgraded to dual carriageway instead of single carriageway. After sending them, I went for breakfast at Pujut 7 coffeeshop. forgot what's the name already. After that.it's straight home for me. Got washing to do.

Then in the afternoon I stop-by at my honey's house to spend time with her before picking my siblings up. Then on the way back from picking them, again there's annoying big2 lorries driving damn slow. Maybe 20kmh..hahaha..That's totally slow.
Once reach home, i put the frozen chicken out. After that I went to E-Mart to buy veggies. After that I came back to cook dinner..

It's been quite a long time since I last updated my blog. Today is Pentecost Sunday. Pentecost Sunday marks the birthday of the Catholic church. It's where Jesus Christ send the Holy Spirit to His apostle and with the Holy Spirit in them, they began preaching the religion. On that day itself 3000 people were converted and baptised. This is when the church started. A church is when a big number of people gather to praise and worship God. Church doesnt neccesarily means the building.

Well, this morning I served at the Pentecost Sunday mass at Church of Mater Dei Lutong. I was serving as candle bearer with Timothy. His Lordship Bishop Anthony Lee presided the mass because there's about 200 people were confirmed this morning at that mass. The mass proceed quite smoothly of course because the Holy Spirit was and always present among us if we believe.

Wow! It's been the month of February already. It feels like time is passing by faster this year? Don't ya think so? This month is very special. Valentine's Day this year coincides with 1st Day of Chinese New Year of the Tiger. Start the year of the Tiger with Tiger beer..hahaha!

I've not gotten a job yet. There's no opening yet in the airlines. Opening=vacancy for pilot. I gtg now. Second half of Everton vs Manchester United awaits me. Hahaha!! Hope Manchester Utd wins this match.

Wow!! This is my first post for 2010. 28 days after the new year. Hahahaha....See how lazy am I to update my blog. 2009 have seen nice things happen to me. Firstly me graduated from GGIFA INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE of AVIATION. In this new year, I hope to continue my aim to become a commercial pilot. Maybe as a start, fly with smaller commercial aircraft. Then slowly progress to bigger aircrafts.

2 days ago we celebrated mama's birthday. Grace bought mama a high heel as a present while Aaron and I bought Chessecake as the birthday cake. Then we waited for her at home to make a suprise for her. While waiting for her, I cooked babui/wild boar/janek for dinner. Grace and cousin Debbie cook vegetables. I love you mama/mum/mamy. Thank you for bringing me into this world.

Finally I've graduated with CPL/IR with Frozen Airline Transport Pilot License. Though still have few papers remaining. There was a lot of ppl attending the first graduation ceremony for GGIFA International College of Aviation. The ceremony was officiated by Datuk Amar Abang Johari on behalf of our Chief Minister of Sarawak who was unable to attend this event due to 'something' so called more important.

After the graduation, VIP were treated to a lunch on the 4th floor of WISMA BDA. While the parents and cadets were treated to a lunch at the lobby of BDA. I had my lunch with my family. After having lunch, I was interviewed by Clarence Ting from Eastern Times newspaper.

After 1 week didnt fly, finally flew on Wednesday. I was siupposed to fly with Capt Shahroul but the aircraft I supposed to use is down. Then Adam call me to be his safety pilot on IF TA.

Then next day I fly with Ung mutual. Nothing special happening though.

It's another weekend. This weekend im flying. I flew Mutual with Abong this morning. It was good though there are clouds around. Then after that I flew as Abong's safety pilot. We went through clouds while enroute overhead VBU. Water droplets appear on our windshield. Then I quickly ask him to switch the Pitot heat on.

LAst night I did not fly because of the weather. I was supposed to fly with Abong also yesterday. So replace it with today's flight. I think that's all for now. Bye.

The haze is so thick that the visibility in Bintulu is 800 metres only. This make me cancel my flight. Hurmmm...How can you fly if cant see the runway, other aircraft? Am I right. So lets hope for rain this few days.

On Monday, I flew to Sibu with Capt Mitchell. We did touch and go in Sibu then come back to Bintulu for VOR/DME letdown. Then on Tuesday I flew Nav solo to Sibu. Land on Rwy 13 and backtrack for Rwy 31. The weather kinda hazy.

Wednesday, 29 JULY 2009 marked my first mutual. For my first mutual I flew with a fellow cadet Abdul Rahman bin Jamil a.k.a Abong. In mutual, we do VOR/DME letdown with our partners. If not clear by tower for letdown, just do normal GH(circuits or general handling). The controller on duty that day is a friendly guy. He chatted with us once in a while..

Friday, 31 JULY 2009 marked my second mutual flight. I am lucky to have the eldest cadet in the school as my safety pilot-Mr Syukri.

*Notice that Thursday is not in the list? Coz I flew Solo GH on that day. Nothing much to talk about on it.

It's the weekend again. The last weekend feels like yesterday only. Well...I have no special planning this weekend. Maybe study, eat, sleep and watch TV. Going out? Nope. No car to utilise here. That's what I hate being here. Coz no car to drive and you guys know how I love driving and speeding down the road. Just have to wait till I get back in Miri then I drive again. Then on Sunday I'll go to church. How I go? Follow my friends lor...Not Adam. He's going back Kuching. This guy in 1 month must at least go back Kch 1 time. Hahaha....

Now talking about fly, I'll be going to Sibu on a navigation exercise with Captain Mitchell this Monday. Will probably spend my weekend preparing for VOR/DME letdown in Sibu and probably ILS approach. Sibu here I come againnnn...Should have gone for Nav to Miri, my hometown..huhuhu.The ATC in Miri dont let us go fly there...Wait till I get back in Miri. I'll pay them a visit. I think that's all for now. BUHBYE!!!

Down with flu...

This stupid rainy weather in Bintulu since the last few days make me flu since last Thursday. Nevertheless I still continue on my flying. The weird thing is the moment i walk to my aircraft, the flu suddenly dissappear or ceased for a while. Then after I landed it came back again. Hahahaha...

Now lets talk about the flying part. Well my flight was on Thursday afternoon at 12pm and 3.45pm. Yes I flew for 2 hours a day and it's going to be more in the airline soon. The wind was kinda strong for the 12nooon flight. And the weather was building up, that's why the wind was like crazy. On my final approach to Runway 17 the wind indicated on my PFD was 330/22 knots. The was 'hell' of a crosswind. Then i continue on my approach with the aircraft cock into the wind. When it came closer to the runway, I feel that I wouldnt make it safely so it increase the throttle to full power for a go-around and come back for another. In the midst of climbing to 1000ft,the ATC telling that there is a change of runway. So I make an orbit on downwind to stabilise on downwind for Runway 35. The controller on duty that day was a friend of mine. The wind on final for Runway 35 also the same-22 knots crosswind. When getting closer to the runway, the windspeed gradually decrease. That's the ood thing of it. And i manage to land the aircraft safely. I quickly request for a full stop and vacated via Alpha. Behind me,got few fellow cadets on solo flight also came down to land. I know God is with me in the aircraft that time. He helped me in my landing. Thank you my heavenly Father.

I did my first letdown with Captain Chow that day. Actually guided letdown. It was really confusing. Hurmmm.....Well, today I flew solo for 1 hours 50 minutes. 50 minutes is from 8.10am to 9am. Then from 12.10pm to 1310pm. In the morning I did 3 landings on Runway 17. Im happy with my 3 landings. Although slight on the left/right of the centerline, it's still safe. Then during lunchtime, it was time for the dreaded landings on Runway 35. Why it's dreaded? Because the wind is more than 10 knots and most incidents involving GGIFA aircrafts occured on Runway 35. Anyway I managed to make a safe landing without harming or damaging the aircraft. For the morning flight, I was using 9M-GAZ and for the afternoon flight I used 9M-GAA. Both aircrafts are two of the first three cessna to arrive in Bintulu or should I say the first three Cessna 172SP in GGIFA's fleet.

Well this is my first post in May. It is done on May 5 which means 5 more days to my special day. MAY 10 the day im looking forward to. Im going to be 21 on that day. Am I going to celebrate this with someone special? A big 'NO' coz i dont have someone special in my life anymore. Maybe in the airline soon?? Hahahaha..

My average posts are about 3 to 6 posts per month. That's quite seldom compare to those posts at least 20 per month. Im quite busy these few days. Busy with my flying. I've started flying on the Cessna 172 with this cockpit......

I'll be going to KL on the 26 to 28th of May to seat for my Navigation paper at Putrajaya. The toughest paper among all the 6 papers.

The Chief Minister of Sarawak is going to visit my flying school this coming Monday on the 16th February. Every cadets required to join in the parade. Dunno why. Maybe got perbarisan kehormat where the 'VIP' got to walk in front of the lines like the King do during the Merdeka Day parade. Inspecting the lines or whatsoever. Ver tired. Everyday got parade practice from 4 to 5pm in the evening. And today Friday is the rehearsel at the GA Apron of Bintulu Airport. The GA Apron is full of tents and GGIFA aircraft. The MHS copper have to park at Bay 1 which is meant for Boeing 737 and Airbus A330(which never came until now). I'll cover the event on that day. I'll try to hijack my friends laptop to post the pictures.

My flu is getting worst. Huhuhuuhu.......I've just taken my medicine. I ask from my friend. I dont have any medicine here. Luckily my fren have his. I hope I'll be better by Monday coz I'll have a mock CA6 exam on MOnday.

My CPL and ATPL exams are coming soon. My CA6 is on 6 and 7 January. My CA2 is on the 10 February.

Today 21/11/2008 Im not feeling well...
But I still come to school. I want to gain as much knowledge as I can from my instructor today.

Something weird??

Yesterday, an unknown number msg me asking who am I? Wth!! Then i reply back the same question. Then a reply came, claiming Im the one sending msg to that number few days ago. And i dont remember sending message to any unknown number. This is totally weird. That mysterous person turn out to be a 15 yr old school girl from my old school. Whom I have nothing in common with. Things getting weird nowadays.

Im going back to Miri this weekend from 24 to 27 October. But I'll be arriving on the Friday evening. Hurmm..Can only leave after COB (completion of business). Term introduce in GGIFA by Capt Bravo Echo Alpha.

Im finally home after tiring journey from my village. Actually suppose to go the my dad's kampung but the bridge along the way broke, so another change of plan. So me and my dad spend the night at Long San. The next plan was go to my maternal grandparents farmhouse at Anyat. I spend a nite at the farmhouse. It's nice. Adventure! I will upload the pictures after I've edited it. The size is too big.
